3/3/2003 1:27:21 AM I’ve got a CompAimpoint Comp M2 and when the dot intensity is too high, I get a spike at 10 o’clock. Yes, its astigmatism. At first, I was disappointed and almost sold it, but this would have been a mistake. The problem is worse indoors, than it is outside. Very much a dot outside. I just got through taking a two day practical rifle course this weekend. With clouds on Saturday, I had the dot at 8 (2 less than max). No flare. Today, bright sunlight and I had to turn it up to 9. Slight flare. I know everyone brags about the sub moa groups. My 14.5″ M4gery with the Aimpoint kept it to 4″ groups at 200 yds. Worked just fine, even with a litttle bit of flare. At closer ranges, the flare didn’t make any difference in speed or accuracy. In conclusion, at least for me, the flare doesn’t affect the practical usefulness of the optic. YMMV. hexe9

4/26/2012 12:17:28 AM just a comment…if you are stocking up on promo 115 grain ammo, do an accuracy test, but move the target out to 35yards…use a rest… compare it to the cheaper end 147 grain stuff like Federal American Eagle This.But Monday I pick up my first Glock Accessories. A Gen 4 g26 for ccw. Since wi finally got ccw I have went through a number of different guns trying to find the right carry gun. I was always a 1911 guy but found myself not wanting to bang up my kimbers. Have an xd but don’t trust the safety as much as the Glock Accessories safety after researching them. Even tried carrying my model 60 pro series but wanted more rounds. Almost bought a kahr, but ended up buying the g26. I’ll let u know how she shoots after monday TuskenRaider

I finally got around to checking this out, and no, it won’t work. the scope scope mounts interferes with where the holes for the folder are, plus the last rivet does not align, my bad. uscombatdiver

] 2/24/2012 9:34:15 AM I own the M951 and yes, it is a bit on the heavier side compared to some of the other surefire models, but I still LOVE it! I did upgrade to the LED lamp and replaced the thumb wheel mount it came with to the QD throw lever one. I also replaced the velcro mount tape switch that came with it with the rail mounted/dual button one. Yes, I did change a lot of the stuff that came with the light, but that was just personal preference…what came with/on it was perfectly fine for most. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick one up for the right price. Snaps
